Bio:
Businessman, Golf Coach & Instructor, Avid Golfer and Founder of Premier Golf Lessons LLC, Matt Welch is a WA state native and has been playing golf his whole life, for over 30 years. Raised by a family of PGA golf course professionals (father, grandfather & two older cousins) he learned the game at a very young age. “My father taught me all of the correct fundamentals, based off of Ben Hogan, and still provides coaching & instruction to me to this day. Therefore I’ve learned all of the beginning & advanced fundamentals, strategies, tactics and techniques for success.” Matt played golf on both HS Varsity and at a Community College level, then went on to teach Advanced PE Golf at Washington State University for 2 years where he taught 5 golf classes & over 150 students. Once he graduated from college, he moved to the Seattle area and started up his existing private golf instruction & lessons business Premier Golf Lessons LLC, where he teaches kids/juniors, adults & company private golf lessons at courses & driving ranges around the area.
Premier Golf Lessons was founded in 2010 as a full scale local golf instruction/golf lessons company in the Seattle Metro area. We provide all areas of golf lessons and instruction for all skill levels and ages 8+, we love teaching kids and Juniors! Our Instructors specialize in all areas of the game including: hitting (driving range), chipping, putting and on course instruction. All lessons are conducted at your local driving range or golf course, whichever one is closest to you.
With over 10 years of golf teaching & coaching experience you can be assured you are learning the correct fundamentals, tactics and skills for success. Our owner Matt Welch has an extensive teaching background including teaching as a PE Golf Instructor for Washington State University as well as a Junior Golf Coach for a local teaching company TGA of Seattle.
**Please note, Matt is not a certified PGA instructor, however has equivalent knowledge & skill level and has been playing golf for 25 years and teaching over 10 years.
